Louis Chang

My interests are split fairly equally between design, technology and
fun. I have several self initiated creative projects ongoing ranging
from web design to motion design incorporating, four student ballet dancers,
fine silks and a large box of lazers (currently in pre-production). I
have recently been working with illustrator Paddy Molloy on an
animation that is to be used in a play called delerium to be shown at
the Barbican this summer.

I’m acutely interested in Technology and it’s evolution into a social
medium. HCI (human computer interaction) was one of my most interesting
modules in my BSC. I’m fascinated by the current transition from
traditional media advertising to new media and how new technology allows
new techniques of communication to be created.

I am also currently in the process of developing a piece of software to
assist Autistic and Autistic spectral Disorder therapy programs. The
software is a multimedia continuation of Carol Grey’s work on Social
Stories. I won 3rd place in the Caledonian University Final year
interdisciplinary prize for the initial Design and prototype of the
application. This is an ongoing project.

I live in shoreditch and take full advantage of the pubs, clubs &
parties that festoon the area. I occasionally dip into a few private
views generally with a due sense of trepidation and dread, but usually
for the free wine.
